Coulais House involved a renovation project carried out in collaboration with the homeowner, Graphic Designer Charlotte Coulais.

A series of contemporary interventions were added to the existing late-Victorian terrace house, crafted to be clearly identifiable in their adjacency with the original features. These new features were highlighted in black and green, including the expressed steel work, galley kitchen, and painted modifications to the existing staircase.

Large new openings were created at the end of the kitchen to create a snug garden room, leading out to the newly terraced space outside.
